Pension annuity rates business for sale. Has no historical annuity rates clients. Apparently Sesame is looking to sell its’ pension annuity transfer business. At least that is what it was called when I set it up several years ago whilst at IFA Network, now owned by Sesame. Now, Sesame is the largest collection of independent financial adviser (IFA) businesses in the UK. It thinks it can sell this part of its’ business for a seven figure sum, according to reports, but there is a bit of an issue, it really doesn’t have any clients of its own. All work carried out is on behalf of member IFA firms.
Sesame is believed to be in talks to sell its pension annuity rates business to a life insurance company for a seven figure sum and a share of ongoing transactional revenues. The adviser firm put Sesame Solutions, what it is now known as, and which specialises in pension annuities, on the market in April this year and is now thought to be negotiating a deal with a life insurance company in which it pays a seven figure sum and agrees to pay Sesame a future ongoing share of the revenue stream, suggests a Citywire source. The source said that the life insurance company could convert the pension annuity arm into a transactional annuity business similar to the direct annuity service being piloted by Aegon for the Telegraph and rightannuity.co.uk.
