New kid on the enhanced annuity block
Enhanced annuities are getting popular. MGM Advantage, formerly known as MGM Assurance, has unveiled the shape of its new enhanced annuities division called Designs for Retirement. The division claims to offer customers and advisers quicker quotes that are guaranteed for longer.
Mr. Fazzini-Jones will lead a team of new joiners, consisting of Eyeedul Haque, Aston Goodey, Wendy Dines and Mark Hurrell. All four bring to the operation a wealth of experience in the sector with histories in a variety of successful organisations.
Haque, formerly of Partnership Assurance, will take on the role of propositions manager, while Goodey has been appointed as sales director, following a career of senior roles in the field.
Dines and Hurrell will both take on roles as national account managers, having joined from Just Retirement and Partnership Assurance respectively.
Fazzini-Jones said the team intended to become one of the UK’s top three enhanced annuity providers, adding that the venture had been met with a “tremendous response”.
