Well, it’s the 1st August, and the middle of holiday time. But surely people are still retiring and buying that pension annuity. I have a belief…the process of buying an annuity doesn’t stop. People retire every day of every week of every month of every year, so annuities are always being bought. If you’re thinking of delaying buying your annuity because of the holidays, don’t. Annuity rates are currently strong, and may not stay that way.
The message: it may well be holiday time but don’t let that put you off buying your annuity.
